I was reading this blog post called can murray overcome the fed? where Federer stated:

Federer made a revealing comment a couple of months ago, shortly before playing Murray (and winning) at the end of year ATP tour finals tournament in London.

“It’s up to me whether I beat Murray,” he said.

Roger Federer has definitely become the best player of All time by winning his 16th grand slam title at the Australian Open this year. He has become so confident that he is now believing the only person that can beat him is himself. Federer has always had a quiet cockiness to him, however since winning the French and becoming the best player of all time, his subtle comments are showing how confident and cocky he is.

Even though he does make such comments it is still hard not to root for him because of his overall graciousness as a champion.

Watch for Roger to notch a couple more grand slam titles under his belt before the end of the year.

    Yes he is confident with his ability and mastery of Murray's performance in tennis but he can't control everything thats going on in a game… The game has its ups and downs. We can never tell maybe in the next two years Nadal would be the next greatest of all time, who knows?

He is confident to defeat Murray with the truth that he masters Murray's way of playing and that despite of his consecutive grand slams he still perform trainings that will increase his speed and develop his ability in playing tennis.

    By the way, who among you guys has able to watched the doubles match between Fed/Pete versus Rafa/Andre? It was fun though Pete and Andre kept annoying each other while the game is going on. Good thing that Fed and Rafa remained very professionals all through out the game. Pete and Fed defeat Rafa and Andre and all the money collected from this tournament will all be provided to Haiti victims through the aid of American Red Cross.The BNP Paribas really did a great job as well as the players that participated with this game.

    In short, He masters Murray's style when playing and that he really has the capability to defeat Murray anytime, anywhere…

    Even if Fed already masters Murray's playing strategies, He still couldn't be certain that he can beat Murray. tennis is a game, and you'll never know what might happen. what if he got injured at the last sets? or what if Murray keep on studying Fed's style of playing and beat him? Fed couldn't control everything in the tennis court.

    He could beat Murray but I don't think he can beat Rafa. Fed's strongest opponent in tennis is Nadal. I can't wait for their next match.

    I think Roger Federer will make it to the top again. He has to learn how to play a lot harder though.

    Even if you are an intelligent and talented player you still can't control everything that's going on inside the court. I don't really agree with this one as well as with Federer's comment “It’s up to me whether I beat Murray” He wasn't even able to defend his title against Cypriot Marcos Baghdatis at the Indian Wells ATP tournament on Tuesday. His defeat shows that Federer is not the kind who can control everything that's going on inside the court. Let's admit it!

    Some people might think that Federer is a bit cocky but that wouldn't change my admiration towards him. He is a great a hubby and dad of two after all. Despite of his hectic schedule he still manage to spend quality time with his family, kids and wife.. He is just simply amazing!
